See it here first! Living With Little Blues

We are thrilled to release our very first little blue documentary, starring our very own Tasman Bay penguins.

The producer is Year 13 Nelson College for Girls student, Roarna Knowler who began the project in June. The film premiered recently at the Nelson State Theatre. Congratulations to Roarna who won Peoples Choice on the night!

This 5 minute doco includes interviews with Professor John Cockrem of Massey University, Patron of the Tasman Bay Blue Penguin Trust and Dr Mana Stratton our amazing rehabilitator..

Being able to share the penguin story via video provides a wonderful opportunity for us to raise awareness of their challenges, think about our impact on their habitat and how we can tread more gently around penguin nesting areas.

Massive thanks to Roarna for choosing little blues as her topic. We wish her every success in her future studies and career as a producer of conservation documentaries.
